It’s Wednesday!

And it is oh so very windy outside.

The wind was so strong last night that it woke me up several times…and set off several car alarms. But at least it’s sunnier today!

Last night I lay in bed tossing and turning. For some reason, I can be exhausted while I’m sitting on the couch but as soon as I move to my bed, my brain kicks into overdrive and it takes me hours to fall asleep.

I am *exhausted* today. So I brewed up some Irish breakfast tea, poured in a splash of milk, and I am feeling somewhat human-esque now.

My body really does feel better when I’m not pumping it full of caffeine but some mornings I just need a little somethin’ somethin’ to get me up and at ’em. Especially after *three* nights of mediocre sleep.

I feel like I need to find a better way to relax before bed. Clearly staring at the computer screen isn’t cutting it.

How do you slow yourself down before bed time?
